Police investigate Eastern Passage shooting, Eastern Passage, N.S.

Police are currently investigating a shooting that took place earlier this morning in Eastern Passage. At approximately 2:30 a.m., RCMP and HRP responded to a complaint of a man who reported being shot at his residence on Main Road.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., RCMP and HRP responded to a complaint of a man who reported being shot at his residence on Main Road.

Preliminary investigation determined that a 47-year-old male was home when three unidentified males entered his home. The victim sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.

Members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are continuing with the investigation. At this time, police do not believe this was a random act.
