Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred last month in Dartmouth.
On August 12 at approximately 6:28 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery in the area of John Martin School. Police were advised that a 27-year-old man was exiting a convenience store in the 100 block of Highfield Park Drive when he was approached by another man not known to him. The man asked the victim if he wanted to buy drugs to which he declined and proceeded to cross the street. He was then followed by the man as well as another man.
The suspects again approached the victim in the parking lot of John Martin School and said they were there to rob him. The suspects pushed the victim to the ground, advised they had a knife and then fled with the victim’s wallet. The victim was not physically injured and police were unable to locate the suspects.
Thesuspects are described as a white man with a brown goatee, wearing a dark coloured hat with a pink brim, a light coloured patterned shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes. The second suspect is described as a black man, 5’1”, wearing a black leather vest, denim shorts and sneakers.
