HRP responded to reported gun shots in area of Uniacke Street and Brunswick Street at 1718 hours on today’s date.
At 1726 hours a male in his early 20’s attended the Halifax Infirmary Emergency with gunshot wounds. The Victim arrived at Hospital in a non-emergency vehicle. Police believe that were the result of the Brunswick / Uniacke call.
Police were on scene at the Hospital on an unrelated matter when the Victim arrived.
The Victim injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The Victim is being treated by Medical staff at this time. The General Investigative Section is investigating this file.
