Police Investigate Attempted Robbery – Halifax

At 8:00 p.m., 26 July, Halifax Regional Police responded to an attempted robbery that had taken place 20 minutes prior, at the Captain Spry Centre, 16 Sussex Street Halifax. ​ Staff reported a teenage male produced a knife and demanded items from two other teenagers.​ The victims fled and were not harmed.​ The suspect fled prior to police arrival.​ The suspect and victims are known to each other.​ Police have identified the suspect and charges are pending.​

Police Investigate  Robbery – Dartmouth

At 1:30 a.m., 27 July, Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at Wyse Road / Albro Lake Road Dartmouth.​ A adult male reported being physically assaulted by two unknown males, who then stole an undisclosed amount cash from him.​ The victim sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries.​ The suspect fled prior to police arrival.​ ​

Police searched the area with and were not able to locate the suspects.​ The suspects are described as:

Suspect – White male, 30’s, full face tattoos, no clothing description.

Suspect – Black male, 30’s, no clothing description
