Police Investigate Vehicle & Bicycle Collision
At 6:20 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a vehicle & bicycle collision in the 1400 block of John Bracket Drive, Herring Cove. An adult female (54 yrs) operating the bicycle sustained life threatening injuries and has been transported to the hospital. The adult male (24 yrs) driver of the vehicle involved was not injured.
In the investigation is in the early stages and investigators with the Accident Investigation and Forensic Identification Section are conducting the investigation. At this time it is not known if charges are pending.
Traffic Blocked: Traffic in both direction on John Bracket Drive and is blocked and being turned around at Powers Drive and Holy Stone On The Sea Road. Traffic will remain blocked for an extended period of time while investigators process the scene.
