Police Investigate Vehicle Collision Involving A Police Vehicle

At 5:20 p.m. 2 February, Halifax Regional Police were responding to an emergency call for service in North end Halifax. While on route one of the responding marked police cars was involved in vehicle collision at Barrington Street and Cornwallis Street, Halifax. The responding police car did have emergency lights and siren activated. The second vehicle is a Gray Volkswagen Beetle. No one in either vehicle was injured and both vehicles were towed due to damage. Additional Police units did respond to the original emergency call. The investigation is on going and it is yet to be determined if any Motor Vehicle Act offences are warranted.
