Police Investigating Arsons

  Halifax Regional Police is investigating two arsons that took place this morning in Dartmouth.

this morning in Dartmouth.
 
The first incident took place on Joseph Young Street at approximately 2
a.m. Police and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency were called to a
report of a vehicle on fire. No one was injured and the investigation
indicates that one vehicle, a Chevrolet Cavalier, was set on fire and a
Nissan parked beside it was also extensively damaged.
 
The second incident occurred at approximately 3:20 a.m. in the 100
block of Pinecrest Drive. A Chevrolet Cavalier that was parked in a
parking lot at that location was set on fire. At this time investigators
are exploring the belief that these incidents are connected and are
asking anyone with information to come forward.
