Earlier today, a complainant reported to police that a racist word was spray-painted on the side of her vehicle in the 100-200 block of Windmill Road sometime overnight. While investigating this incident, officers became aware of a second vehicle in the 0-100 block of Stairs Street, also spray-painted with a racist word.
 
Police asked anyone with information about these incidents or the identity of the suspects involved to contact police at 490-5016. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or texting a tip – Tip 202 + your message to 274637.
