Police Investigating Hit and Run

 

Release:
Halifax Regional Police is investigating a hit and run collision that
occurred Friday morning in Halifax.
 
At 10:08 a.m., police responded to a report of an injured cyclist in
the area of South Park Street and Spring Garden Road. The woman was
heading south on South Park Street when she swerved to avoid a car door.
She was struck by a vehicle traveling in the same direction and knocked
to the ground. She was transported to hospital for treatment of injuries
that are believed to be non life-threatening. The vehicle failed to
remain at the scene and police are interested in speaking with anyone
who witnessed the accident.
