On April 27 just before 5 p.m., Halifax District RCMP received a call from a 24-year-old man who had been stabbed at a residence in West Chezzetcook.
The investigation determined that the suspect entered the residence and an argument took place. The suspect then stabbed the victim before leaving the scene in anolder model blue Chevy Cobalt. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
On April 29, at approximately 6 p.m. Jeffrey Walter Wagner, 22, of Lake Echo, was arrested without incident. He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face the following charges:
- Aggravated Assault
- Break and Enter
- Assault with a Weapon
The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
