Police investigating theft of flatbed truck

A Truro-based business was recently targeted as thieves made away with a valuable flatbed tow truck overnight on December 12th.

The stolen vehicle is a Freightliner truck with a large crane attached to its flatbed, designed for heavy-duty towing and recovery operations. The crane and truck are branded with “GCR” in bold lettering. This Freightliner model is typically seen in industrial or commercial fleets.

The truck’s color is primarily black, with black fenders and trimmings; The side of the vehicle displays the company’s contact information, including a phone number, and bears the registration number visible on its side making it identifiable for anyone who might come across it.
