Police Investigating Weekend Robberies

Police are investigating two separate robberies which took place over
the weekend.

The first incident occurred on Friday at 11:45 p.m. near the 600 block
of Portland Street. Two males were walking area when they were
approached by the suspect who was on a bike. He threatened the victims
and demanded they turn over their valuables. The suspect is described as
a black male, 17 or 18-years-old, with a medium build and crooked teeth.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a white t-shirt and grey
sweat pants.

The second incident took place at approximately 5:10 a.m. on Sunday on
Connaught Avenue between Bayers Road and Windsor Street. The victim was
walking towards Windsor Street on the east side of the street when he
was approached by two men. One of the men demanded the victim’s wallet
and when the victim tried to flee, he was knocked down and his wallet
was stolen. The suspects are both described as white men, 5'10", with
one wearing a red TapouT shirt and jeans, and the other wearing a blue
dress shirt and jeans.
