Police is requesting assistance from the public following a break and enter at the Esso on French Village Station Rd. in Upper Tantallon.
Shortly before 1:30 a.m. this morning, a male suspect broke into the closed store causing damage to the front door. The suspect is described as a man with a medium build wearing a light coloured hoodie, jeans and dark footwear.
Members of the RCMP Tantallon Detachment were assisted by the Halifax Regional Police K-9 Unit in their search for the suspect but did not locate him.
The investigation is continuing and being lead by the Integrated General Investigative Section.
