Police Issue Reminder to Lock Up

From HRPD:
HRM Partners in Policing are reminding citizens to be vigilant about keeping doors, windows and sheds locked. Warmer weather means that people are opening windows and doors to air out their homes and accessing items from their sheds. Over the last couple of weeks there have been a number of breaks into homes through unlocked doors. Historically in spring there is also a rise in thefts from sheds which are left open. Halifax Regional Police and RCMP Halifax District are encouraging citizens to lock their doors, windows and sheds when not in use.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously around homes or sheds, please contact your local police immediately.
