Halifax Regional Police have laid charges in relation to a robbery that occurred in Halifax three weeks ago.
On November 10, 2016 at approximately 2:22 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at The Kalisimbi Shop located at 22 Titus Street. A staff member stated a man entered the store, tried on some wigs,then told the clerk he was robbing her and demanded cash from the till, which he obtained. He fled on foot on Titus Street towards Dutch Village Road. No weapon was used during the incident and nobody was injured.
Yesterday at approximately 5:15 p.m., officers with the Central Quick Response Unit arrested 25-year-old Johnathan Joseph Gallant of Halifax without incident. He appeared today in Halifax Provincial Court to face charges of robbery.
