One male is facing drug and weapons charges after police searched a residence in Timberlea.

Yesterday afternoon shortly before 1 p.m., the RCMP/HRP Integrated Guns and Gangs Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Parkdale Ave.

Police seized a quantity of marijuana, a conducted energy weapon, drug paraphernalia, cell phones and video cameras.

As a result of the search, a 31-year-old male has been charged with Trafficking Marijuana, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose. The male was released on a Promise to Appear and will appear in court on April 20th, 2014.
