Police looking for persons of interest in Montague Road homicide investigation

Members of the Halifax District RCMP/HRP Integrated Major Crimes Unit are seeking assistance from the public in relation to the recent homicide of Paul Livingstone.  Investigators are looking to speak with a male and female who were at the Montague residence on Friday morning.

August 15, 2011, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) . . . Members of the Halifax District RCMP/HRP Integrated Major Crimes Unit are seeking assistance from the public in relation to the recent homicide of Paul Livingstone.  Investigators are looking to speak with a male and female who were at the Montague residence on Friday morning.  
They are described as Caucasian, late 50's or early 60's, driving a beige or brown vehicle.  The female is described as 5'4" with brown curly hair that is grey on the sides above the ears.  The male is described as 5'10" with no facial hair and possibly wearing glasses.
 
Investigators from the Integrated Major Crime Unit as well as the Forensic Identification Section remain on scene.  The death was reported to police shortly after midnight on Saturday, August 13, 2011.  An autopsy was performed on Sunday, August 14, 2011.  The victim was killed by a gunshot and his death has been ruled a homicide.  The victim has been identified as the home owner, 58-year old Paul Livingstone.
 
Police do not believe this was a random act of violence and are asking anyone with any information to please call the Integrated Major Crime unit at 490-5333.
