Police Looking For Suspect After Gas Station Robbery

Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth this evening.

At approximately 7:26 p.m. police received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at a gas station located in the 200 block of Pleasant Street.  A man entered the store and threatened staff with a knife before fleeing on foot with a quantity of cigarettes and money.  There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5’7” with a heavy build, wearing baggy blue jeans, a khaki jacket, black winter toque and tan work boots.  He was also carrying a black gym bag.
