Earlier this evening, Halifax Regional Police members arrested a male and a female in the 300 block of Pleasant Street in Dartmouth in relation to offences that occurred in the RCMP territory involving a prominent health official earlier this week. 

HRP members made the arrests related to an ongoing criminal investigation, which was being led by the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division. Further questions related to this investigation may be directed to the RCMP, given the location of the original incidents.
