Police Release Pictures from Overnight Robbery

 

The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the man in the attached pictures from the robbery last night in Halifax.
 
 
At approximately 8 p.m., police responded to a robbery at the TD Bank located at 6239 Quinpool Road in Halifax. Staff reported that a man entered the bank armed with a handgun. He ordered the staff and civilians to the floor and demanded cash. No one was injured and the suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
 
 
The suspect was described as a light skinned black man, 25-30-years old and 5"10 to 6"0" tall. At the time of the incident he was wearing a red ski style jacket, a black hoodie, black jeans and white sneakers. He was also wearing a black ski type mask.
 
This man should be considered armed and dangerous and members of the public should not approach him or try to take matters into their own hands. Anyone with information about his identity or whereabouts is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5016.
