February 16, 2012, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) . . . RCMP respond to armed robbery at Fitzgerald's Rite Stop in Timberlea, Nova Scotia.
 
Last evening at approximately 9:35 p.m., a lone man entered the store and approached the counter where he pulled a knife and demanded money.
 
The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during this incident.
 
The suspect is described as a white male in his early twenties with a bruise-like marking under his eye, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
 
Investigators are asking anyone who might have seen suspicious activity in the area to contact them.
