Police request public assistance – Dartmouth hit and run

Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance to identify the driver involved in a hit-and-run collision that occurred in Dartmouth last night.

At 9:13 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Victoria Road and Demetreous Lane for a hit-and-run collision. A Lincoln MKZ travelling north on Demetreous Lane collided with a Toyota Yaris travelling east on Victoria Road. The Lincoln quickly turned around and drove down Demetreous Lane. It was located on Bras Dor Lane unoccupied. Both vehicles were extensively damaged in the collision, however, there was no report of injuries. 
 
Halifax Regional Police is asking anyone with information about this incident or the driver to contact police at 902-490-5016.
