Police request public’s assistance – motor vehicle hit and run

Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance to identify the driver involved in a motor vehicle collision that occurred last week in Halifax.

Police received a report that at approximately 9 a.m. on April 25, a motor vehicle/pedestrian collision had occurred at the intersection of Robie and Inglis Streets in Halifax.

The pedestrian, a 20-year-old Halifax woman, was crossing Robie Street in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle turning right from Inglis Street. The pedestrian was taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle did not stop at the scene.

The vehicle is described as a four-door white sedan.
