Police seek public assistance in assault with a weapon investigation

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an assault with weapon that occurred on Sunday morning in Halifax.

At approximately 3:34 a.m. on July 7, officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1500 block of Grafton Street in Halifax. Upon arrival, it was determined a man had been assaulted with an edged weapon. The man was transported to the hospital.

The Investigation is on-going.
