Police seize cocaine, drug paraphernalia after search of home

Digby RCMP has charged a man with drug and weapon offences following a search at a home in Marshalltown.

On January 29, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Digby RCMP executed a search warrant at a home, on Middle Cross Rd., in relation to an ongoing drugs and weapons investigation that began on January 10.

At the residence, RCMP officers safely arrested a 56-year-old Marshalltown man. A search of the property followed and resulted in the seizure of suspected crack cocaine, cash and items consistent with drug trafficking.

Somewhere in the middle — and that's okay.

Brian Height, 56, has been charged with:

  • Trafficking in Substance;
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.

Height was held in custody then subsequently released by the court on conditions. He will return in Digby Provincial Court on March 25, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.

The investigation remains ongoing.
