Information sought for January hit-and-run incident (Photo)

RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is seeking information following a hit and run that occurred in Spry Bay.

On January 23, at approximately 3:45 p.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment received a report of a collision on Hwy. 7 near Boutiliers Settlement Rd. RCMP officers learned that the incident had taken place about 45 minutes prior to being reported and involved a Chevrolet Silverado and a Nissan Frontier travelling in opposite directions. The collision occurred when one vehicle sideswiped the other.

Light damage was sustained by the Silverado. No injuries were reported.

The driver of the Nissan failed to remain at the scene and kept on driving.
