Police arrested a man after a home was searched in Lunenburg County.

On Thursday March 26th at approximately 11:50 p.m., officers with the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit and Chester RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Wallaback Rd.

As a result of the search, police seized a quantity of processed marijuana, hash, cannabis oil, pills and unsafely stored firearms. Also seized in the search was a large amount of cash. A 51-year-old man from Eastern Passage was arrested at the home without incident.

Lonny Alexander Wright appeared in Bridgewater Provincial Court today charged with numerous drug offences and unsafe storage of firearms. Wright was remanded into custody and will be back in Bridgewater Provincial Court on March 30th, 2015.
