Police Seize Drugs, Arrest Man for Trafficking – Windsor

The Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) arrested a 49-year-old man and seized quantities of cocaine and hydromorphone after a traffic stop in Windsor on Tuesday. 
 
Following an investigation, Valley Integrated SCEU investigators conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Wentworth Rd. in Windsor on Tuesday afternoon. As a result of the traffic stop, police searched the vehicle and seized quantities of crack cocaine and hydromorphone, as well as drug paraphernalia.
                  
The passenger, 49-year-old Peter George Strudwick of New Minas, was arrested at the scene and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Hydromorphone, and Breach of a Recognizance.
 
Strudwick has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on April 5, 2016 to answer to the charges.  The investigation is continuing.
