Police seize drugs; make arrests, Masstown, N.S.

Police seized drugs and arrested three individuals after executing a residential search warrant.

On April 7th, 2015, Colchester District RCMP and the Colchester Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in Masstown.

As a result, police seized over 4 lbs of marijuana, marijuana oil, drug paraphernalia and cash. A 2013 Yamaha motorcycle was also recovered at the residence that had been previously reported stolen in May 2014.

Two males and one female were arrested without incident at the residence.

A 22-year-old Masstown male is facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. This individual was on house arrest at the time of the search and as a result has been remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear at Truro Provincial Court on July 29th, 2015.

A 46-year-old Masstown female is facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. She was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at Truro Provincial Court on July 29th, 2015.

A 23-year-old Londonderry male was later released from custody without charges.
