Police seize firearms and drugs following search of business, Urbania, N.S.

The Integrated Guns and Gangs Unit charge two men after a search in Urbania, Hants County. On December 11th, police, with the assistance from East Hants District RCMP executed a search warrant at a business in Urbania and seized a number of firearms (long guns), various types of ammunition, a quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and proceeds of crime.

On December 11th, police, with the assistance from East Hants District RCMP executed a search warrant at a business in Urbania and seized a number of firearms (long guns), various types of ammunition, a quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and proceeds of crime.

Two men were arrested at the scene, both from Urbania. Kyle Irving Lawrence, 25-years-old is charged with seven counts of Careless Use of Firearm, seven counts of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm and Trafficking marijuana. Darren Leonard Lawrence, 29-years-old, is charged with three counts of Careless Use of Firearm.

Both men were held in police custody and are appearing in Provincial Court Truro today.
