Porters Lake Park Boil Water Advisory Lifted

Tests show drinking water at Porters Lake Provincial Park in Halifax Regional Municipality is now safe to drink.

A boil water order from the Department of Environment issued Aug. 24 was lifted today, Aug. 28.

Campers and park users had been advised not to drink the water because of a malfunctioning chlorinator.

The equipment has been fixed and the drinking water at the park meets acceptable standards.
