Elections Nova Scotia July 30, 2016
ELECTIONS NOVA SCOTIA — The Chief Electoral Officer has received the order in council for the Halifax Needham by-election announced earlier by Premier Stephen McNeil. “The full slate of early voting opportunities will be available,” said CEO Richard Temporale.
To date, there is one registered candidate: Rodney Wilson, Nova Scotia Liberal Party. The CEO expects that all five registered parties will have candidates file nomination papers to contest the seat. Election day will be August 30, 2016.
