Premier Points To HRM By Design As A Touchpoint For The Fall Session


It’s shaping up to be an interesting session for the Nova Scotia Legislature this fall.

Citing the current economic climate in the province and abroad, Premier Rodney Macdonald made it clear that Halifax’s business community will recieve his attention during the fall session.

Jennifer Taplin over at Metro Halifax reports that in addition, child pornography reporting and rules to encourage professional immigrants to practice in Nova Scotia will be key issues when our elected officials return.  From her article:

“Premier Rodney MacDonald said he hopes the parties can work together with his minority government to get some work done in the new legislature session, which begins today.”
