Property damage to daycare under construction, Beechville, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP are investigating property damage with a BB gun in Beechville, Nova Scotia.

Tantallon RCMP have received three reports of property damage to a new daycare construction at 1352 St.

Margaret’s Bay Rd since November 1st. On three occasions a pellet or BB gun was fired at the building hitting three windows causing extensive damage. Preliminary investigation in all three incidents determined unknown person(s) caused damage to the outer panels of glass on three rear facing windows of the building.

If anyone has any information about these offences, they are asked to contact the Halifax RCMP at (902) 826-3100 or local police. Citizens can also provide information on these incidents to Crime Stoppers anonymously anytime at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by their Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award from $50 – $2000.
