Road Closure – Lockview Road
Location: Lockview Road, from High Road to Old Lochview Court
Date: Monday, Nov. 22 and Tuesday, Nov. 23 (weather permitting)
Time: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day (the road will reopen overnight)
Work details: This work is for pavement rehabilitation. This project supports the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan<www.halifax.ca/sites/default/files/documents/city-hall/budget-finances/2021%20StrategicPrioritesPlan_Final.pdf> to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: No parking will be permitted on the road during this work. Access will be maintained only for local traffic and emergency vehicles. The sidewalk will remain open. A marked detour will be in place while work is underway. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
