Road Construction – North Street
Location: North Street, between Dublin and Oxford streets

Time: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Work details: This work is related to the setup of a relocated protected sidewalk on the north side of North Street. This project supports the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan<www.halifax.ca/sites/default/files/documents/city-hall/budget-finances/2021%20StrategicPrioritesPlan_Final.pdf> to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic Impact: Stop-and-go traffic will be in place while work is underway. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Construction during COVID-19: Construction crews will strive to maintain physical distancing measures. However, residents may see workers within two metres of each other while completing certain tasks, which aligns with the exemptions outlined in the Provincial Health Order. If approaching construction crews, residents are asked to maintain at least two metres of physical distancing.
