Traffic Delay – Hollis Street Location: The intersection of Hollis Street and Sackville Street, to civic address 1568 Hollis Street Date: Thursday, Feb. 15 Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Work details: This work is to remove the overhead scaffolding over the bike lane that was placed during the demolition of the building. Driver Impact: Drivers will have to share the road with cyclist has they merge onto the road until they pass the closed section of the bike lane. No other driving impact expected for drivers. Transit Impact: Transit service will not be affected. Access to stops will be maintained. Pedestrian impact: No pedestrian access through construction site. Signs provided for pedestrians to navigate around work area. Cyclist impact: No cyclist access through construction site during the removal of the scaffolding. Cyclists are to share the road with traffic until they pass the construction section and then merge back to the open section of the bike lane.
