Public assistance requested in stolen trailer investigation

Colchester District RCMP is asking for help from the public to identify a person of interest following the theft of a utility trailer from a business in Lower Truro. At 1 a.m. on November 8, a man cut the chain on the outdoor storage yard of the business and stole the trailer. It was wheeled by hand from the lot and hooked up to a waiting vehicle in a nearby parking lot. The trailer is a galvanized 4 x 6 ‘Stirling’ open-rail trailer, valued at just under $1000.00.
