Public meeting to discuss future of Central Spryfield Elementary

I received an email today from the chair of the review committee at Central Spryfield Elementary, about a public meeting to discuss the future of the school.
Central Spryfield is going through a review process. One of the possibilities at the end of the review process is closure of the school. The school board makes it clear that’s not the only possibility. However, the review process does look at the viability of the school.
In her letter, the chair says the review committee is looking for as much support as possible from the community to help keep the school open. Here is the info below:

The public meeting is on November 24 from 6:30pm -8:00pm at Central Spryfield School, located at 364 Herring Cove Rd. We will be serving refreshments. For anyone wanting more information they can go to the HRSB website look under quick links then school reviews where they will find both the Identification Report and the Impact Assessment Report for Central Spryfield.
