PurGood Organics embodies what luxury, eco-friendly baby products should look and feel like. Simple, beautiful to look at, ingredients that we can pronounce, scents that don’t make our nose and eyes burn, just all around healthy, toxin-free, natural skincare. 

Created by two moms and long time friends, the gals behind this brand went on a mission to come up with an eco-friendly, organic solution to the problem of traditional, irritating, chemical laden so called tear-free shampoo, body washes and lotions.  The PurGood products nourish your children’s skin with pure extracts from fruits, aloe and even kosher vegetables! The products are also completely free of sulphates and parabens too.

Unfortunately my son Aidan has a lot of his mama’s skin problems. One swim in a chlorinated pool and his cheeks, arms and legs are red, itchy, dry and irritated with exzema. If I use the wrong shampoo on him his scalp is dry and irritated. If I use the wrong cream, it’s red bumps and blotches everywhere. Poor little guy has sensitive skin. My youngest, Ethan doesn’t seem to be irritated by much – hopefully he has skin like his Daddy. But since he’s so little and brand new to the world I don’t want to put anything toxic on his delicate skin and the last thing I want is for him to be inhaling strong perfumes! 

For review, we received PurGood’s Baby Wash & Shampoo 8oz and Baby Lotion 8oz. 

The wash lathers up into nice, silky bubbles and Ethan’s hair is left fluffy and incredibly soft. It cleans really well too – no worries of mama’s lipgloss sparkles left on the side of his head from the millions of kisses he gets each day!

The second ingredient is organic lavender so even though this product has no artificial fragrance, it is scented. I’m not a huge fan of lavender but the scent is extremely light and doesn’t linger after the bath, so I don’t mind it at all. He’s left smelling perfectly of “baby” afterwards!

The Baby Lotion is completely unscented and moisturizing without being greasy. Ethan’s skin is nice and soft and my hands are smooth and moisturized. It’s paraben and pthalate free, contains no nut oils and is actually vegan friendly!

I’m really enjoying this brand of toxin-free products and I’m so excited to see what they come up with next. Maybe some different scents like coconut or mandarin or maybe even body butter for my alligator family…here’s hoping! New products are going to be launching this fall!
