Quinpool Road rebrands to reflect and promote a vibrant destination of growth and variety!

THIS IS QUINPOOL – the versatile new brand calls attention to what’s here now, and to whats next on the street.

The Quinpool Road Mainstreet District Association has rebranded to reflect the excitement and evolution of the central Halifax neighbourhood which is home to a unique blend of shops and services – most of them locally-owned.

The new brand, which includes a completely reimagined website (quinpoolroad.ca), social media assets, and collateral, was introduced to the general membership at the Association’s June 24th AGM. The website will be launched publicly today.

The new social media-friendly brand signature features a stylized Q which doubles as a magnifying glass icon to highlight Quinpool’s transformation which has already begun. Current and upcoming development in the area will add new residential and retail/commercial opportunities to the mix which will foster a vibrant new pedestrian-friendly, shop-local neighbourhood.

The new website actively showcases Quinpool’s business members with photo vignettes, feature profiles, and a dynamic aggregate of Quinpool’s social media feeds directly on the site. The new site also promotes the many popular events on the street, the dog-friendly Paws Here initiative, and the surprising availability of existing and new street parking for customers.

The rebrand program was developed by boutique marketing firm and longtime Quinpool Roaders, Burke & Burke, who actually created the original Quinpool Association’s brand program in shortly after its inception in 2001.

The Quinpool Road Mainstreet District Association was formed as a business improvement initiative in February, 2001 to actively promote and develop the potential of the Quinpool Road area. The Association represents over 120 businesses within the popular central Halifax district.
