RCMP are investigating a theft and burning of a motor vehicle, Cheticamp, N.S.

RCMPare investigating the theft and burning of a motor vehicle.

On Saturday, February 1st, a vehicle that had been stolen from a residence in Cheticamp was found burned in Bay St.

Lawrence. The vehicle was a Blue 2008 Chevy Silverado with a red plow on the front and a gasoline tank located in the back of the truck.

If you have any information on this incident, please contact any RCMP Detachment, local police or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by going online at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award from $50 – $2000.
