RCMP arrest fugitive murder suspect

From RCMP:
The RCMP North East Nova (NEN) Major Crime Unit (MCU) with the assistance of the RCMP Emergency Response Team (ERT) arrested Robert Harris LAMB (20 yrs). Last evening at approximately 10:45 pm,  Mr. Lamb was arrested without incident in an apartment in the town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

Mr. LAMB was arrested on a Canada Wide arrest warrant in relation to the 2nd degree murder of Jonathan BEATON who died at a residence in Antigonish on January 1, 2010. The warrant had been in effect since early February and attempts by police to arrest LAMB had been on going.
The RCMP would like to thank the public for their ongoing support and assistance during the course of this investigation.
