RCMP arrest man following a search of residence, Bay St. Lawrence, N.S.

Ingonish Beach detachment RCMP execute a search warrant and make an arrest. On August 18th, 2014 at approximately 7:30 p.m. RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Bay Road Valley and seized marijuana and cash.

On August 18th, 2014 at approximately 7:30 p.m. RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Bay Road Valley and seized marijuana and cash.

A 63-year-old, from Bay Road Valley was arrested and charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act for Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. Melvin MacDonald has been released and will be appearing in Ingonish Provincial Court on October 9th , 2014.

The investigation is continuing.
