RCMP arrest two males after a traffic stop in Thorburn.

On May 30th, 2014, Pictou County District RCMP arrested two men after a vehicle check. The vehicle was searched and police located and seized a large quantity of marijuana, canadian currency and drug trafficking paraphernalia. The 24-year old and 26-year old males, both from Pictou County, face charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. They are scheduled to appear in Pictou Provincial Court in September. The investigation is ongoing.
