RCMP arrest two men for stealing car, Halifax, N.S.

Quick action by local RCMP officers resulted in the apprehension of a car thief in Cole Harbour. Early this morning, 1:15 a.m., RCMP responded to a report of a car that was stolen from a residence on Hampton Green.

Quick action by local RCMP officers resulted in the apprehension of a car thief in Cole Harbour.

Early this morning, 1:15 a.m., RCMP responded to a report of a car that was stolen from a residence on Hampton Green.

Officers located the vehicle traveling on Cole Harbour Road. The officers managed to stop the two suspects in the car from fleeing and arrested them without further incident.

The two males, a 28-year-old from Halifax and a 24-year-old from Cole Harbour, face charges under the Criminal Code including Theft of Motor Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property and Breach of Undertaking.

The two men will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court today.
