RCMP arrest two suspects after responding to Break and Enter in Lawrencetown, NS

Wednesday, October 6, 2010, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), N.S…. Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District arrested two males for Break and Enter after responding to a house alarm on Megan Dr. Lawrencetown, NS yesterday morning.

 
At 11:50 AM, RCMP members attended a home on Megan Dr., Lawrencetown, NS for an alarm.  As one member was approaching the home, an alert neighbour flagged him down to tell him she saw four teenage males leaving a residence on Megan Dr. after the alarm sounded.  She saw the suspects enter a gray vehicle before driving away quickly.  She was able to give the RCMP member a description of the vehicle and license plate.  The RCMP member attended the residence on Megan Dr. and confirmed a Break and Enter did take place.  While another RCMP member was on patrol in Eastern Passage, NS he spotted the suspect vehicle on Cowbay Road.  The vehicle was stopped and two males were arrested.
 
A 18 year-old male will appear in Provincial Court in Dartmouth on November 16, 2010 to face charges of Break and Enter and Possession of Stolen Property.  A 16 year-old male will appear in Provincial Youth Court in Halifax on Oct 21, 2010 to face charges of Break and Enter and Possession of Stolen Property.
 
The investigation will now focus on whether these suspects are linked to any other Break and Enters.
