RCMP Charge Adult and Youth with Attempted Murder

Annapolis District RCMP is investigating an attempted murder and aggravated assault in West Dalhousie following a complaint of unwanted persons at a residence.
 
On February 18, 2016 at approximately 11:15 p.m., Annapolis District RCMP responded to a complaint of unwanted persons in a West Dalhousie home. The event escalated with a male sustaining injuries. He was immediately transported to the Valley Regional Hospital.
 
A 15-year-old youth and a 55-year-old man, both of Annapolis County, have been charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault. The youth has been released from custody on strict conditions and scheduled to appear in Annapolis Royal Youth Justice Court,  April 6, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.  The adult who remains in custody will appear at Annapolis Royal Provincial Court on February 22, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. The incident was not random and all parties are known to one another. The investigation is ongoing.
