The Provincial RCMP Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Bridgetown man with child pornography offences.

Following information that came forward from Halifax Regional Police, a search warrant was executed on October 23rd, 2014 at a residence in Bridgetown by members of the RCMP ICE Unit, Technological Crime Unit, and the Bridgetown RCMP detachment.

Two laptops were seized.

Kendall Longmire, 44, was arrested at the scene without incident and charged with Making Available and Possession of Child Pornography. Longmire was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear at the Annapolis Royal Justice Centre on April 15th, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.
