RCMP Halifax District investigating robbery in Lower Sackville

RCMP Halifax District is investigating a robbery that occurred tonight at 6:59 p.m. at a store in the 200 block of Sackville Drive.

A lone male entered the store, wearing a​ bandana over his face​ and demanded money from the clerk. No weapon was seen but the suspect had his hand in his pocket as if he had a firearm. The male then fled the store on foot after taking money. Patrols were made in the area and a police service dog was called in, but the suspect was not located.

The male is described as white, approximately 5’8″, thin, early 20’s, brown eyes, wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.​

The investigation is ongoing​ and is currently being investigated by the Halifax Integrated General Investigative Section, which is composed of members from the RCMP and HRP.
